my story
In fact, I'm so passionate about capturing you through my lens, that I left my previous career entirely to chase this crazy photography dream. As a type A, self-proclaimed nerd, and Enneagram types 1 and 3 - I'm alllll about planning and organization. With a degree in orthopedic rehab, I had an established career path, but despite that, I couldn't put my camera down. So when the pandemic hit, and my son was born in 2020, I re-evaluated what was important to me and took this jump into photography full-time.

I love shooting a big backyard wedding and I love capturing a fun family session in your kitchen on a Saturday morning. In my eyes, BOTH are important. Both are magical. Both are worth remembering.
While the majority of my galleries are couples and weddings, I enjoy capturing couples, small families, elopements, and individuals. I consider people to be at the heart of my images and I strive to have their personalities, connection, and story shine through. So while I'll use a combination of prompts and poses during sessions, I want your images to feel authentic and true to you.
